A2 Media Studies
This year for my A2 Media Studies I was set the task of producing a music video. When the task was set we were told that we could create anything that we wanted to as long as the video we wanted to create was realistic and didn't break any laws or push the limit on boundaries, which included sexuality, nudity, drinking, drugs, etc.
We had to research and plan; the type of music genre, artists within the genre, the music videos, their conventions of the genre and the artist, whether we wanted to break any or follow any conventions of the artist and genre.
Also all of the equipment we used such as props (posters, guitars, drums) cameras, tripods, etc had to be arranged for use by ourselves, with the exception of a camera and tripod on the occasion that we didn't have any access to one, otherwise, whatever we decided we wanted to use in our music video we had to gain access to.
